Purchased a dehumidifier in October 2020. Stopped working a few weeks later. Eventually returned after 3 attempts. Allegedly repaired, returned to me in January 2021, worked for 2 hours, broke again. Returned again. Will not reply to emails. Will not refund. SHOP ELSEWHERE!

Bought a lawnmower from these robbers. Said it was in stock. Turns out there website is not live so item says in stock but may very well not be, like in my case. Customer service told me After I'd waited a week after my delivery date that it was not in stock. No updates where given at any time. I have phoned them many times ang got a different person. Was told I would get a refund within 5 days. I am still waiting after 2 weeks. They have had my money for about 5 weeks now and still no sign of a refund. Absolute disgrace, no way will I ever buy anything from this lot ever again.

Just purchased a Clarke mig 135 tDon’t often write reviews but credit toMachinemart from start to finish Easy online website straight forward to use Once purchased got regular messages keeping me in the loopWhen my welder turned up got a friendly phone to say it’s arrivedOn picking up at the Bristol branch was welcomed by friendly staff who had it already for me and explained if a required any help parts etc just to pop in 10 star rating machinemart well done

I have used the Luton branch a few times and the service has always been excellent, so I will definaetly be back in the future!

Staff at Southend were very helpful and able to give me some feedback on my choice of drill sharpener. Also helped me set up an account. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The product I purchased was of good quality , the service I received was excellent , A***** ......

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased a nail gun from the Leicester branch, was sold nails that dont fit and some that did. It lasted about 20 mins on thin (6mm) mdf. Exchanged at Colchester and returned home to find the exchange wouldn't even power up. Took it to the Nottingham branch who said they would not Exchange it needed to go to the service depot. I refused and was told I had been using it for the wrong thing...it's meant for light work....What ??? I could not believe what I was hearing. I said how can you judge that if it never fired one nail ? He finally exchanged but I believe deliberately re charged me so I have to wait for 2 refunds. I contacted customer complaints and I was offered a 15 pounds voucher....the nails cost me 20, that's without the fuel and time? Awful. I will never use them again

Took a week to send out the order. There was no notification on length of delivery nor was there an email telling of delivery. Other companies have kept us informed of the process from order to delivery, so a little disappointed in Machine Mart. However goods were in good condition.

Customer service totally rubbish. Mr Reed time for change the job. Better spend more money on different shop.

Came when it was supposed to. Extra nuts and bolts were a bit confusing. Still better than not having enough

Terrible service, placed an order online and paid for a three day delivery. Call because five working days had past and still no delivery. To get told I will be called back once you have spoken to your supplier. No call back then I call two days later to be told no order was placed yet the money was removed from my account. Terrible service I never use you again.

After spending a long time researching items to to form the basis of my home workshop, i decided to opt for the Clarke range from Machinemart. I have previously owned Clarke tools and have been very happy with the quality.I ordered various items for my workshop, included a Roll-Cabinet and various other storage items, and decided to order for Click and Collect as i work close to a store. The website stated that orders would be fulfilled within 3-5 working days and this was also stated when i added all of the items to the basket. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing, i decided to call the store, in case there had been an error somewhere along the line, to be told that one of the items was out of stock. After another week, i decided to call customer service, to be told that another (different) item was out of stock, on back order for at least 2 weeks, and Items are only reserved at the time of picking if the entire order can be fulfilled. If any item is out of stock at the time of picking, the order would be delayed until then. However, if the items are not reserved for specific customers, there is a chance that you could perpetually be waiting for all your order list to become available. This sounds very different to what was stated at the time of ordering. I was informed that they will allow around 20 orders to be taken even if they only have stock levels of 3 items, before they change the status of an item to be out of stock, and there is no way of knowing if the items are actually in stock or not at the time of ordering. very poor indeed.I requested a refund as i think a month is unacceptable. I was told that this would take 3 working days to appear in my account, however even this seems to be a bit of a fib. I have now waited 5 working days, and after a further phone call to a very unhelpful customer service operative, i was told it had only just been processed. This has been a thoroughly poor experience, and i based on my experience would therefore recommend dealing directly with the store.

When I contacted the parts support to enquire about the direct replacement flathose for my Clarke pump I was somewhat mystified that I was told that a flathose was not suitable for my unit, even though the flathose was supplied in the Clarke pump box and I had been using it for nearly 10 years.I was given no reason why a flathose was now unsuitable, or what the alternative product was. I decided to place the order for a straight flathose replacement. If another supplier had been able to guarantee next day delivery (I needed the replacement hose to assist in the recent floodwater events that submerged the lower floor of my house) I would have purchased from them, but Machine Mart were the only supplier with the hose in stock who could guarantee next day delivery, although the delivery cost of £7.99 was on the extortionate side.I also ordered two screw clamps to secure the flathose to the pump. Those clamps were not in the flathose delivery box, nor have they arrived yet, one week after the flathose was received.
